Holiday Inn Resort in Wrightsville Beach Trades for $30M

Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $30.2 million sale of a 184-room Holiday Inn Resort in Wrightsville Beach, N.C. Robert Hunter, Christopher Martin, David J. Altman and R. McLean Hicklin III of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, a private partnership, in the transaction. The buyer was a limited liability company.

Built in 1999, the seven-story property is located directly on Wrightsville Beach, which is just outside of Wilmington, N.C. The hotel has more than 8,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 400-person capacity ballroom, three swimming pools with two whirlpools, two restaurants, a lounge, fitness center,  sand volleyball court, Kid Spree Vacation Club and shuttle service.

“This Holiday Inn Resort drew a tremendous amount of national interest because of its location in a high-end beach destination with an undeniably high ceiling,” said Hunter. “North Carolina is consistently recognized as one of the fastest-growing states and Wrightsville Beach is a short drive from its largest population centers.”
