Holiday Inn Express/Staybridge Suites Opens in Downtown Houston
Neway Hospitality opened a 275-room dual-branded hotel in Downtown Houston earlier this month. The property under IHG Hotels & Resorts includes a 144-room Holiday Inn Express and a 131-room Staybridge Suites and is located at the corner of Texas and Austin streets, just two blocks west of Minute Maid Park.
On the fifth floor, a 20,000-square-foot amenity deck features a pool, fitness center and bar. The hotel also includes a full lobby bar, complimentary breakfast and laundry services for guests,
A number of hotels are racing to prepare for the upcoming FIFA World Cup. Neway Hospitality opened its online reservation system for its new hotel this week and is already seeing bookings tied to the World Cup in June and July.
Additionally, the nearby George R. Brown Convention Center’s $1.1 billion renovation is underway.
