Hodges Ward Elliott Arranges Sale of Historic Hamilton-Turner Inn in Savannah
Hodges Ward Elliott has arranged the sale of the Hamilton-Turner Inn, an ultra-luxury, 17-key Inn located at 330 Abercorn Street in the Historic District of Savannah, GA.
Pete Dannemiller and Jeff Berkman of Hodges Ward Elliott, a boutique real estate capital markets advisor, brokered the transaction on behalf of the seller. According to Hodges Ward Elliott, the seller completed a substantial capital improvement plan to update the property’s interior and rooms over the last several years and delivered a turn-key asset in pristine condition.
The French Empire-style Hamilton-Turner Inn was constructed in the late 1800s and transformed into an inn in 1997. It is regarded as one of the city’s most historic hospitality assets, according to Hodges Ward Elliott, which also points out that the Savannah Historic District is widely considered one of the highest barrier-to-entry development markets in the Southeast, particularly for hotels.
The property is located just off Lafayette Square with walking access to all of Savannah’s top attractions.
