Hodges Ward Elliot Arranges Sale of 330-Room Hotel at Avalon in Alpharetta

Real estate capital markets advisor Hodges Ward Elliot has arranged the sale of The Hotel at Avalon, a 330-room hotel and conference center in Alpharetta. The sales price was not disclosed.

Opened in 2018, The Hotel at Avalon is located within the larger $1 billion, 86-acre Avalon mixed-use walkable community in Alpharetta. The hotel also includes the 65,000-square-foot Alpharetta Conference Center, which features 44,000 square feet of function space, a South City Kitchen restaurant, as well as a full-service Starbucks. The hotel is part of the Marriott Autograph Collection brand of hotels.

Bill Hodges, Mark Elliott, Todd Ratliff, Pete Dannemiller, Nate Ries, Coby Campbell and Nic Howe of HWE represented the seller in the transaction, a partnership of Stormont Hospitality Group, North American Properties and Long Wharf Capital. The buyer was Crescent Real Estate.
