Hochanadel Will Head Digital RE at Harrison St.

Michael Hochanadel has joined Harrison Street as a managing director and head of digital real estate. Previously a senior managing director at JLL, Hochanadel will be responsible for leading Harrison Street’s digital real estate business and executing the sourcing, analysis and closing of joint venture partnerships and investments in the sector.

Since joining JLL in 2005, Hochanadel has been involved in executing more than 49 million square feet of transactions valued in excess of $7 billion across many sectors.  In particular, he has closed more than $2 billion of data center transactions across 18 U.S. and European markets.

“Digital real estate has proven to be a highly resilient asset class across cycles and represents a significant opportunity for Harrison Street,” said chairman and CEO Christopher Merrill. “We are thrilled to welcome Michael, a leader in data center, life sciences and alternative real estate investing, to our firm.”
