Hobbs Brook Management Hires Schaefer as CEO
Samuel M. Schaefer
Waltham-based commercial property management and development firm Hobbs Brook Management has hired Samuel M. Schaefer as president and CEO. Schaefer previously served as managing director and global head of property management at Tishman Speyer in Boston.
Schaefer has also worked with real estate services company John Buck Co. in Chicago, and for Heitman LLC, a real estate investment management firm. He is a graduate of DePauw University.
The hire comes at a time when Hobbs Brook is developing a 500,000-square-foot speculative office and lab property at 225 Wyman St. in Waltham. The project, which will be the largest contiguous Class A office space along Route 128, is expected to be completed in early 2021.
