Historic Kansas City Country Club Plaza MF Asset Trades

Northmarq’s Kansas City Investment Sales team, led by David Belpedio, Jeff Lamott and Casey Wilhm, brokered the sale of The Robert Browning Apartments, a 64-unit mid-rise multifamily community located at 4809 Roanoke Pkwy. in Kansas City, Missouri.

Northmarq represented the seller, Bellada LLC, in the transaction. The buyer is Bird Enterprises LLC. The seven-story, 36,248-square-foot community at 4809 Roanoke Parkway offers a highly walkable location with convenient access to the Country Club Plaza’s shopping, dining, and employment centers. Its combination of 1920s architectural character and proximity to the Plaza’s ongoing $1.5 billion transformation made it a compelling investment in one of Kansas City’s most established residential corridors.

“Even as the Plaza undergoes a $1.5 billion transformation, a thoughtfully preserved asset like this one generated strong interest and demonstrated that historic properties can create value well beyond the numbers,” said Belpedio.
