Historic Kansas City Club Building Hits the Market
A 102-year-old historic building in Kansas City’s Library District has been listed for sale following a multi-year renovation project for the upscale event space.

The Kansas City Club building at 918 Baltimore Avenue recently hit the market for sale to new owners, reported the Kansas City Business Journal. Denver-based Epoch Developments LLC has owned the four-story, 48,769-square-foot building since 2015. Adam Tilton and Jack Denzel of CBRE’s Kansas City office represent the building’s new sale listing.
While an asking price wasn’t available, Jackson County valued the site last year at $888,300. Built in 1922, the building is on the National Register of Historic Places. Epoch bought the building for $1.76 million after the Kansas City Club filed for bankruptcy in 2015.
The development firm reopened the building in 2018 after a multiyear revamp as an event space with ten event rooms, bride and groom suites, an industrial kitchen and a full-service bar.
