Historic ‘Jewel Box’ Jackson Square Property Sold

499 Jackson Street, an historic ‘Jewel Box’ office building located in San Francisco’s Jackson Square, sold for $15 million. The 92%-leased, Class A building is home to six tenants, ranging from high identity retail at street level to venture capital and tech on the office floors.
CBRE’s Josh Peterson and Felipe Gomez-Kraus represented the buyer, 499 Jackson, LCC. CBRE Capital Markets’ Seth McKinnon and Tyler Meyerdirk arranged the sale on behalf of Montgomery Lytton, LLC, along with CBRE’s Laura Sagues.
The boutique and vibrant environment of the North Waterfront/Jackson Square submarket appeals to a wide variety of tenants, including venture capital, technology, and financial firms. The 15,432-square-foot property is within walking distance to the Montgomery BART station and the Ferry building.
