Historic Car Dealership Showroom Trades in Houston
It might be the showroom of one of the most famous car dealerships in Houston history. Starting as Southwest Dodge, the location was owned by Oilers/Titans owner Bud Adams and was reportedly the “newest and most modern [building] in the world”. The Dodge dealership had its grand opening September 29, 1966. It closed in the 80’s and, off and on, has since been used to display classic cars.
Lee & Associates arranged the sale of the 80,000 square foot retail property in West Houston. Although the sales price was not disclosed, listing services pegged the sales price at $19 million.
Nathan Denton, Justin Tunnel and Chase Cribbs of Lee & Associates represented the buyer, HGreg Investment of California in the transaction. HGreg.com says it is a technology-first automotive retailer with a strong combination of e-commerce platform, storefronts and fulfillment centers.
