Hines to Launch Flexible Workplace Platform in Hudson Square

Hines has announced the upcoming launch of The Square at 205 Hudson in Hudson Square. This marks The Square’s sixth global location, taking over nearly 63,000 square feet of the former WeWork space. The Square, part of Hudson Square Properties, offers flexible workplace solutions catering to modern workforce needs, combining hospitality-driven management with high-quality private offices and suites.

The space will accommodate over 700 people with customizable suites, private offices, and on-demand workspaces available by the hour, day, week, or month. The Square will feature 12 conference rooms, access to building amenities, and a network of collaboration spaces across multiple cities.

“The hybrid work environment creates variable demand for office space, and The Square will expand our capability to offer high-quality flexible and conventional office leasing options to the New York City market and our current tenants,” said Alexis Michael, managing director at Hines.
