Hines Secures 175K SF of Leases at Santa Clara Tech Park
Cushman & Wakefield represented Hines in executing three leases totaling approximately 175,000 square feet of R&D/manufacturing space at the Bassett Technology Park in Santa Clara. The firm’s Steve Horton, Jon DeCoite and Kelly Yoder represented Hines in all three transactions.
EOTech, LLC, which designs, develops and manufactures optics sights and scope, signed a new lease totaling 75,375 square feet. Intevac, a leading supplier of thin-film processing systems, signed a long-term lease extension for its 75,376-square-foot headquarters located in the campus. Additionally, Evoloh, Inc., a cleantech company, signed a new lease for 25,613 square feet for its new headquarters location.
“A fund sponsored by Hines had acquired the campus shortly after the beginning of the pandemic, with a belief in the long-term supply/demand fundamentals of this product type, which tends to remain resilient during economic downturns,” said DeCoite. “These leases are a testament to the desirability and diverse functionality of this R&D and manufacturing campus.”
