Hines, MetLife Launch Construction on Lux East Bay Apartment Development

Houston-based Hines partnered with MetLife on another development, the latest project in the East Bay Area community of Concord near the Concord BART station and Todos Santos Plaza. Construction is now underway on The Grant, a mixed-use complex of 228 luxury apartments that spans two adjacent blocks in downtown Concord.

Hines’ George Clever says, “Today marks an exciting milestone for The Grant and we are thrilled to expand our multifamily portfolio in Concord. With its excellent amenities and irreplaceable location, The Grant will set a new standard for living in the East Bay.”

The Grant will include studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, high-end finishes and thoughtfully designed floor plans. Amenities feature a swimming pool, roof deck, clubhouse, outdoor fitness areas, fire pits, bicycle parking and space for dogs. The project will be comprised of two buildings separated by Clayton Road. The Grant is expected to be completed in Q3 2022.

Be sure to register for the Connect National Multifamily Update – June webinar, coming up on Thursday, June 11.
