Hines Completes Renovations to 101 California Office Tower

Hines announced the completion of renovations to 101 California, the 48-story tower, 1.2 million-square-foot office tower in San Francisco’s Financial District. The improvements include a re-envisioned outdoor plaza, lobbies, and new tenant amenities.

“Our mission with the plaza redesign was to reenergize this iconic community space for tenants and visitors alike and create a more open and human-scale experience where people can gather and connect,” said George Clever, senior managing director and city head of the San Francisco office of Hines.

San Francisco Mayor London Breed (pictured) spoke at the recent re-opening ceremony for 101 California. The renovations were led by architecture firm Bohlin Cywinski Jackson.
