Hines Closes 210K SF Deal at San Mateo Office Project

For more on what’s going on in the Bay Area market, attend Connect San Francisco on May 12 at the Hibernia Bank.

Medallia is moving its headquarters to 400|450 Concar, a Class A office project under development in San Mateo, CA. The global Software as a Service Customer Experience Management firm signed a 210,115-square-foot deal, bringing the new 3.3-acre complex to 69% leased.

Construction of the 305,000-square-foot project is slated for the fourth quarter of this year. Medallia requires expansion space from its current facility in Palo Alto, CA, and the commute-friendly Peninsula office location is convenient for its HQ team, as well as partners, customers and employees.

Newmark Cornish & Carey’s Josh Rowell and Craig Kalinowski represented the development team, comprised of Houston-based Hines’ and Chicago-based Pearlmark Real Estate Partners. Medallia was represented by Newmark’s Randy Scott and Jay Phillips.
