Downtown Glendale will be the home of Hilton’s first LivSmart Studios in Arizona. LivSmart by Hilton is the newest addition to the portfolio of 24 world-class brands.

The property will help provide lodging to support Glendale’s Civic Center for overnight conferences and events. It will also serve as a hospitality option for Glendale’s Sports & Entertainment District.

Glendale City Council approved a ground lease agreement with CivicGroup for the city-owned property at 7120-7128 N. 57th Ave. in downtown Glendale. The 28,000-square-foot parcel is directly adjacent to the Glendale Civic Center, where the hotel will be developed.

The hotel will have 90 studio apartment-style suites. Amenities will include a fitness center, laundry facility and a neighborhood feel.

Arizona-based CivicGroup is the developer. Construction will be managed by Antonia Botero, who has built over 200 branded hotels.
