Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre Facing Foreclosure

The 482-room Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre is being threatened with foreclosure, as lenders attempt to collect a portion of the $75 million owed on the asset. The high-rise hotel at LBJ Freeway (Interstate 635) and Dallas North Tollway is part of the massive Lincoln Centre complex that came online in the early 1980s.

The action marks the second month in a row that a foreclosure filing has been made against the hotel, and represents one of the largest current foreclosure listings in North Texas. Only Frisco’s Wade Park development has a larger debt default.

Apollo Real Estate Advisors acquired the hotel in 2008 for $72.3 million, and made significant upgrades to the property. The loan, which is now in default, was made in 2014. “Any time a property that has a note for $75 million is posted for foreclosure, it raises eyebrows,” Foreclosure Listing Services’ Curtis Roddy told the Dallas Morning News.
