Highland Tech Center Benefits from Rail Location
Highland Tech Center capitalizes on its central location across the street from the Highland rail station. The office center is located at 6505 Airport Blvd. in the Highland neighborhood, next to the ACC/Red Leaf Highland redevelopment.
The recently completed Highland Tech Center is a redevelopment of a value office project into a class-A office building. In all, Highland Tech Center will offer 86,105 square feet and 6.5:1,000 parking.
Runa Workshop was the architect on the Highland Tech Center redevelopment project. Chad Barrett of Aquila handles the leasing of the building, and Aquila leads the redevelopment and building management.
In November 2020, the Lamy Family sold the eastern and northern portion of the 7.7-acre site to Slate Real Estate Partners, a Houston-based multifamily developer. Slate is currently under construction on a parking structure which will be shared between the office and multifamily properties.
