Highland Capital Acquires 346-Unit Apartment Community in Nashville

Dallas-based Highland Capital Management has acquired Arbors of Brentwood, a 346-unit multifamily property in South Nashville. The sales price was undisclosed. Brett Kingman, Russ Oldham and Steve Massey of CBRE represented the sellers, Redwood Capital Group and Investcorp, in the transaction.

Located at 100 Brentwood Pl., the property was built in 1986 and is currently 95% occupied. Community amenities include a newly-remodeled health club, virtual fitness studio with spin bikes, business center, outdoor kitchen and fireplace, three swimming pools, pet park, playground and double lighted tennis court.

“The community’s location is highly desirable to investors and residents alike,” said Kingman. “This dense, mature residential pocket of South Nashville will see continued demand, as South Nashville is virtually built out with extremely high barriers to entry in the adjacent suburb of Brentwood.”
