High Street Wraps Up Work on Pittsburgh Luxury Multifamily

High Street Residential and its project partner, Northwestern Mutual, completed construction on Glasshouse, a new luxury residential building in Pittsburgh’s South Shore neighborhood. The five-story, 319-unit property saw its first move-ins in September.

“Glasshouse will be a critical component of the exciting new future of the South Shore,” said Tom Zale, head of real estate investments at Northwestern Mutual. “Interest in the property has been strong from future residents who are looking for a modern, sleek address that provides a true city feel.”

Located on the site of some of Pittsburgh’s historic glassmaking factories, Glasshouse is accessible to Station Square, a mixed-use conversion project. It will be leased and managed by Bozzuto Management Company.

“Glasshouse is a unique property that is setting the pace for luxury residential development along the South Shore,“ said Chris Sencindiver, principal with High Street Residential’s Northeast Metro Business Unit.
