High Street Residential (HSR) alongside partner Third & Urban have broken ground on Hillcrest, an 8.1-acre mixed-use community in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Hillcrest will feature 362 apartment units, 30 for-rent townhomes, and over 19,000 square feet of retail space integrated with a central greenspace plaza. All portions of the project are expected to be delivered by the end of 2027.
 
The project is located adjacent to the $230 million City Springs development on land previously owned by The Sandy Springs United Methodist Church. The project will feature a three- to five-story apartment building. Amenities will include a rooftop pool and clubroom with panoramic views of Sandy Springs and Buckhead, a golf simulator lounge, private movie screening room, sauna, state-of-the-art fitness center with Pilates studio, dog park, and a café-inspired work-from-home space.
 
The townhomes will offer two- and three-bedroom floor plans with two-car garages and rooftop patios.
 
The retail portion of the project, overseen by Third & Urban, will include a collection of casual restaurants and retailers.
