High Street Residential’s 550-Unit MXU Approved in Pasadena

High Street Residential, a subsidiary of Trammell Crow Co., received approval from the Pasadena, CA City Council to develop a mixed-use project with 550 apartments and nearly 10,000 square feet of ground floor retail. The 8.5-acre site at 3200 E. Foothill Blvd. in East Pasadena runs along the 210 Freeway.

The proposed project by Pasadena Gateway, LLC, includes a mix of studio, one, two, and three-bedroom units in four and five-story structures, sitting on top of two levels of parking. Roughly two acres of combined on-site recreational and open space amenities are planned, including a central public park, two courtyards, a dog park, a paseo, a fitness center, two clubhouses and a retail court.

The site currently houses a self-storage facility, and was a former U.S. Naval Information Research Foundation (NIRF) Undersea Center through the late 1970s.

Construction is anticipated to commence in May 2019, and delivery in April 2022.
