Trammell Crow opening 363-unit Plano apartment community

High Street, Principal Complete Plano Apartment Venture

A joint venture between High Street Residential, Trammell Crow’s residential subdivision subsidiary and Principal Real Estate has opened a multifamily community in Plano. The group opened Legacy Square, a 363-unit luxury community.

In November 2021, Principal Financial Group provided a $60.3 million construction loan for the project, according to Yardi Matrix information. The development team included Andres Construction as general contractor, while GFF provided architecture services.

Legacy Square encompasses 22 buildings—two of which are reserved for amenities—spread across 17 acres. The unit mix includes one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts, varying from 737 to 2,051 square feet. Common-area amenities include a 2,300-square-foot business center, fitness center, clubhouse, playground, swimming pool and two conference rooms. In addition, there are more than 900 parking spaces and EV charging stations.
