Aurora site for high-security $100M office building

High-Security Office Space Planned for Aurora

The developer hopes to capitalize on the buildings proximity to the Buckley Space Force Base in Aurora. Denver developer Koelbel and Company plans to break ground later this year on Innovus, a 200,000-square-foot, four-story office building located in Aurora at the southwest of East Sixth Avenue and North Valdai Street. With its high-level security spaces, Innovus will cater specifically to tenants within the defense industry, including Department of Defense contractors, and aerospace and cybersecurity companies.

The Denver Business Journal reports Koelbel is currently under contract for the land to build the new facility and is partnering with DeNovo Solutions on the project. The site is part of Denver-based Plan West’s mixed-used development called Aurora One.

The budget for Innovus is over $100 million.
