High-End Spa Bathhouse Establishes First Manhattan Location

Newmark Retail arranged a long-term lease for the high-end spa Bathhouse for 34,328 square feet at 7 W. 21st St. in the Flatiron neighborhood. The block-through space at the Friedland Properties-owned, Morris Adjmi-designed luxury residential property marks Bathhouse’s first Manhattan location, in addition to its debut space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Executive managing director Jason Pruger and associate director Lucas Kooyman of Newmark Retail represented the property ownership. Ross Eisenberg, CEO of RDE Advisors, Inc., represented the Bathhouse.

“Seeing a well-regarded wellness purveyor like Bathhouse double down on New York City proves that the city is poised to return to life pre-pandemic where retail spaces are being used to create valuable customer experiences,” said Pruger. “Both area residents and city visitors will benefit from having such a large and accommodating spa service in the heart of the Flatiron District, providing a respite from the hectic day-to-day of city life.”
