High-End Mediterranean Restaurant Concept Coming to Forest Hills

Muss Development LLC completed a long-term restaurant lease at its 7000 Austin St. property in Forest Hills, Queens. The high-end Mediterranean restaurant, scheduled to open by year’s end, will occupy the 8,631-square-foot first floor. The space was most recently occupied by TGIFridays.

The new restaurant is owned by a group which operates several other restaurants across Queens, Manhattan, and Staten Island.

“Well located neighborhood retail continues to thrive in Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island,” said Jason Muss, president of Muss Development. “We are pleased to welcome this high-end Mediterranean restaurant to 7000 Austin St. and to Forest Hills. We believe it will be a great fit with our other tenants, the shopping corridor and the entire neighborhood.”

Bill Bergman, of Muss Development, represented ownership in-house. Nicholas Kalomeris and Peter Botsaris of Botsaris Morris Realty Group represented the tenant.

Located between 69th Road and 70th Avenue, 7000 Austin St. is a two-story, 78,938-square-foot office and retail mixed-use property.
