Higgenbotham Auctioneers International (HAI) is holding a public property auction for 390.5 acres of redevelopment land in Salem, OR. There is no buyer premium in the sale and the suggested opening bid is $7 million. Public previews of the property will be held on June 15th and June 29th with sealed bids due on August 2nd.

The property is called Mill Creek and is located in the Willamette Valley, both within the City of Salem and its Urban Growth Boundary. “This is an outstanding opportunity for a master-planned redevelopment of the property into an asset that Salem community can be proud of,” said HAI’s president, Marty Higgenbotham in a news release.

The site, located just southeast of the Kuebler Boulevard Interstate 5 offramp, offers easy access and utilities are to the property. Mill Creek bisects the land, making for potential walking trails and recreation areas. Details about the auction and the property can be found here.
