HGTV Purchases Iconic Brady Bunch House
HGTV may be saying “Marsha, Marsha, Marsha” very soon, as the media company purchased and plans to restore the iconic Brady Bunch TV home to its “1970s glory.”
The house was used for all the exterior shots in the famed Brady Bunch show in every episode, except the first. This month, the house hit the market for the first time since 1973, for an asking price of nearly $2M.
Built in 1959 in Studio City, CA, a suburb of Los Angeles, the pink ranch-style home is the “second most photographed home in the U.S. after the White House,” according to the listing.
HGTV outbid NSYNC’s Lance Bass, who apparently offered an amount well over the asking price, but the big corporation took the keys.
