HFF Trades Grocery-Anchored Center for Brixmor

HFF has arranged the sale of a grocery-anchored shopping center in Dubuque, IA, on behalf of seller Brixmor Property Group, as well as acquisition financing on behalf of the DESCO Group. Financial terms were not disclosed. The 96,310-square-foot Warren Plaza is currently 90.5% leased.

HFF’s Amy Sands, Clinton Mitchell and Jules Sherwood represented Brixmor in the sale. The HFF debt placement team working on DESCO’s behalf included Christopher Knight.

Situated on 13.33 acres at 3500 Dodge St., Warren Plaza is located along the U.S. Highway 20 retail corridor in Dubuque, an Iowa community at the intersection of Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin. It draws from an expansive trade area that includes all three states and about 157,261 consumers, and is across the street from Kennedy Mall, the only super-regional mall within 90 miles.
