HFF Arranges Sale of 129K-SF Publix-Anchored Shopping Center in St. Petersburg
HFF brokered the sale of Disston Plaza, a 129,150-square-foot, Publix-anchored shopping center in St. Petersburg. The sales price was not disclosed.
Built in 1954 and renovated in 2018, Disston Plaza is currently 97% leased with a tenant roster that consists of Bealls Outlet, Dollar Tree, Suncoast Resale Shoppe, Anytime Fitness, Subway, Little Italy, Great Clips and Greenberg Dental. The center is located on more than 12 acres at 3501 49th St. N.
Luis Castillo, Daniel Finkle and Eric Williams of HFF represented the seller, Forge Capital Partners, in the transaction. The buyer was New Market Properties, a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of Preferred Apartment Communities. Additionally, Ed Coco, Matt Casey, Greg Gaughan, Maxx Carney and Libby Malloy of HFF secured acquisition financing on behalf of the buyer through an undisclosed lender.
