Hewlett Packard Enterprise Moves HQ to Santa Clara

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is relocating its HQ to 3333 Scott Blvd. in Santa Clara, CA. The company is vacating recently-completed space in Palo Alto in favor of The Campus at 3333 where Aruba Networks, which HPE purchased, leases more than 240,000 square feet.

Additionally, HPE is shifting two other offices, one to north San Jose at 211 River Oaks Parkway and another to 900 N. McCarthy Blvd. in Milpitas.

HPE plans to make the HQ move by October 2018. The vacated facility at 3000 Hanover St. in Palo Alto, which dates back to Hewlett-Packard’s early days, is owned by the company in a ground-lease with Stanford University.  HPE plans to sell the property.

Menlo Equities developed the 30.2-acre, 1.6-million-square-foot The Campus at 3333 site in a joint venture with Beacon Capital Partners. CBRE Global Investors acquired a 940,564-square-foot phase of the commercial real estate campus last month for a reported $610 million.
