Hersha Hotels Divests Boston Home2Suites Property

JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group arranged the sale of Home2 Suites Boston South Bay, a 130-suite, 76,398-square-foot extended-stay hotel located at 15 Jan Karski Way in Boston. The buyer and sale price were not disclosed. Senior managing director Alan Suzuki and managing director Matthew Enright, along with Associate Alexa Amorosino, represented the seller, Hersha Hotels & Resorts.

“We are pleased to have facilitated this transaction on behalf of Hersha Hotels & Resorts,” Suzuki said. “The hotel’s location at the confluence of Boston’s leading academic, medical and corporate ecosystems position it perfectly to capture expanding demand from the surrounding submarket developments.”

Completed in 2020, the five-story hotel is adjacent to the South Bay shopping center, one of the area’s premier retail destination. Located near Interstate 93, the property provides convenient access throughout Greater Boston and is within walking distance of both the Andrew and Newmarket Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority stations.
