Henry’s Gymnasium to Open 2nd Location in Capitol Hill

Henry’s Gymnasium is set to occupy all three floors of the newly renovated Boylston Garage, located at 1617 Boylston Avenue and owned by Asana Partners in Seattle’s Capitol Hill district. The club’s grand opening is slated for November 1.

The fitness club currently has another location open in Lower Queen Anne. “Serving the Capitol Hill community from the Boylston Garage is a dream come true,” said Glen Swain, owner of Henry’s Gymnasium. “We’re looking forward to expanding beyond our original Queen Anne location and welcoming new members in Capitol Hill.”

In 2023, Asana Partners completed a significant overhaul of the 15,000-square-foot former garage. Led by Graham Baba Architects, the $6.2 million adaptive reuse project preserved much of the building’s original components and materials while upgrading and equipping the space.

The gym also will include a med spa, member lounge, and bar. Henry’s will feature reclaimed wood for most decorative finishes, including 118-year-old internal doors sourced from an old seminary.
