Helm Equities Turns Office Design Inside-Out with $300M Miami Project
Helm Equities has released plans for the $300-million development of Parterre 42, a 500,000-square-foot office and retail building in the Design District of Miami, FL.
The COOKFOX Architects-designed Parterre 42 will emphasize an indoor-outdoor work experience with 80,000 square feet of functional outdoor space across all floors. The building will occupy a city block — bounded by NE 42nd and 43rd streets, between NE 2nd and 4th avenues — and offer 70,000- to 86,000-square-foot floor plates as well as 13-foot ceilings and 360-degree unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay and Downtown Miami.
“We worked with COOKFOX to turn the typical office building inside-out, incorporating massive amounts of functional outdoor space on every floor so that occupants of Parterre 42 feel like they are truly working in nature,” said Ayal Horovits, principal at Helm Equities.
COOKFOX Architects’ first Miami project will deliver an indoor-outdoor cafe, multi-level gardens, town hall and rooftop event spaces and shaded outdoor work environments.
