Hell’s Kitchen Mixed-Use Development Lands $119M in Financing

The Hudson Companies and Housing Works, with partners HPD and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), have secured $119 million in financing for The Lirio, a mixed-use development in Hell’s Kitchen.

Located at 364 West 54th Street, the development will feature 112 affordable homes, including 67 units of supportive housing for formerly homeless individuals. Among these, 59 units will be designated for long-term survivors of HIV/AIDS. Additionally, there will be 44 affordable homes for families earning between 30% and 120% of the Area Median Income (AMI), one superintendent unit, approximately 30,000 square feet of office space for the MTA, and retail space along Ninth Avenue.

“With today’s milestone, we are grateful to Mayor Adams and his administration, HPD, the MTA, City Councilmember Erik Bottcher, Borough President Mark Levine, Community Board 4, our financial partners and the project’s design team, without whom this project would not have been possible,” said Sarah Pizer, development director of Hudson Companies. Construction, starting soon, is expected to be completed by 2026.
