Helios Healthcare Advisors Completes Sale of Skilled Nursing Facility in Wrentham

Helios Healthcare Advisors has structured the sale of a 144-bed skilled nursing facility and 29-bed early education day care center in Wrentham, MA. Southborough MA-based Alliance Health and Human Services acquired the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center from the family that founded it in 1963.

At the time of the transition, Maples occupancy sat at 95% with a quality mix north of 40%.

“This was a unique assignment,” said Mario Wilson, Helios managing director. “The regulatory approval process, while seamless, involved three different licensure transfers/approvals including the SNF license, day care center, and a DEP wastewater treatment license assignment. There was also an existing HUD loan on the facility that added a layer of complexity to the timing of the closing.”
