Healthcare Realty Picks Up Indianapolis Outpatient Facility

Healthcare Realty Trust has acquired Methodist Professional Center II (MPC II), a 143,499-square-foot Class A outpatient facility on the academic medical campus of Indiana University Health’s Methodist Hospital in downtown Indianapolis.

Nashville-based Healthcare Realty Trust reported the purchase price as $47 million. The seller was The Sanders Trust, headquartered in Birmingham, AL.

Mindy Berman and Justin Hill of JLL Healthcare Capital Markets served as advisors to the seller, along with Bruce Gordon, Indianapolis-based VP of Midwest healthcare at JLL.

The four-story MPC II sits on 1.4 acres and was built in 1992. The property is fully occupied by Indiana University Health and its affiliates. It features the campus’s outpatient ambulatory surgery center and cardiovascular specialists.
