Health System Relocates to Former Navistar HQ
Edward-Elmhurst Health (EEH) is consolidating its headquarters from two suburban facilities into 188,000 square feet at 4201 Winfield Rd. in Warrenville, IL. The property in the Cantera business park formerly was the headquarters of trucking firm Navistar, and is being extensively renovated by its current ownership.
Created by the merger of Edward Hospital and Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare in 2013, EEH provides comprehensive healthcare to residents in Chicago’s west and southwest suburbs. The new space represents a 16,180-square-foot expansion from the health system’s current facilities in Elmhurst and Warrenville.
David Justh of CBRE represented EEH in the transaction. JLL’s Jeff Shay and Lyle Patterson advised ownership.
“This is an amazing opportunity for Edward-Elmhurst to reposition itself and create an environment that will assure the attraction and retention of top quality employees,” said Justh. “When complete, this will be one of the best workplaces and buildings in the Chicago area.”
