Health Care Service Inks Galleria Lease Renewal

Health Care Service Corp. opted to stay put at its current location in Houston’s Galleria submarket. To that end, the health insurance company came to an agreement with landlord KBS Realty Advisors to renew 48,214 square feet at 1800 W. Loop South.

Transwestern’s Doug Little, Louann Pereira and Matthew Seliger represented the landlord. Sean Reynolds and Garrold Parratt with JLL negotiated on behalf of the tenant.

The landlord, operating under the name Keppel-KBS, acquired the 399,777-square-foot, Class A 1800 W. Loop South in late 2017. The owner is making a substantial capital investment in the property, working toward a tenant lounge, fitness center, conference facility and on-site dining options.
