Headquarters Move Means Backfilling Opportunity for Expanding Tenant

Evolve Scholastic Inc. relocated and tripled the size of its headquarters and distribution center in Dallas, vacating space that enabled another company to expand.

The supplier of caps, gowns and graduation accessories leased a 12,000-square-foot office/warehouse at 8920 Premier Row in Dallas. Simultaneously, Quality Biomedical backfilled Evolve’s 4,400-square-foot vacated space at 1208 Tappan Circle in Carrollton.

“One moved out on the 30th and the next one moved in on the 1st,” says Richmond Collinsworth, first VP of Dallas-based Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services. He leases the Tappan Circle project for landlord, CCG Valwood LP.

Evolve outgrew the Carrollton space. Its new location is owned by 462 Thomas Family Properties LP, represented by Gillis Thomas Co.’ Kevin Conlon in leasing negotiations.

“Quality Biomedical was waiting in the wings because it too needed to expand,” Collinsworth said.

Quality Biomedical, represented by TenantBase’s Danny Muse, now occupies 9,000 square feet at 1208 Tappan.
