HBO Selects Culver City’s Ivy Station as New Corporate HQ in 240K-SF Deal
The development team of Lowe, AECOM-Canyon Partners and Rockwood Capital executed a long-term lease with HBO for the entire 240,000-square-foot office building at Ivy Station in Culver City, CA. The $350-million mixed-use development is currently under construction on a 5.2-acre site adjacent to a L.A. Metro Expo Line station.
Lowe’s Tom Wulf says, “HBO is an ideal business anchor for Ivy Station, bringing to the property creative professionals that will enjoy access to public transit, host out of town guests at the hotel, and frequent the shops and restaurants that will populate the ground floor town square-style retail space.”
The 500,000-square-foot project will also feature 200 apartments, 50,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and restaurant space, a 148-room boutique hotel, two acres of outdoor space, and 1,500 below-grade parking spaces.
CBRE’s Jeff Pion and Matthew Hargrove represented the landlord and tenant, respectively.
Construction completion is anticipated in mid-2020, with HBO expected to take occupancy in early 2021.
