Have $82M? You Could Own Johnny Carson’s Former Malibu Estate
If you happen to have a spare $81.5 million lying around, there’s an investment waiting for you. Specifically, the Malibu oceanfront estate that was once home to Johnny Carson is on the market.
The estate was designed by Ed Niles, and is situated on approximately four acres of well-landscaped grounds. If you buy the property, you’ll have access to outstanding views of the Pacific Ocean and Point Dume, while strolling by the on-site koi pond, waterfall, saltwater pool, guest house, two-bedroom pavilion and championship tennis court.
Current owners Sidney and Caroline Kimmel bought the estate in 2007 and, according to brokerages Coldwell Banker Global Luxury and Hilton & Hyland, “have a deep appreciation for Johnny Carson’s legacy, and who made great efforts to stay true to the architect’s original vision.”
