Harwood International Buys the Luminary in Dallas

Harwood Acquires The Luminary in Dallas

Harwood International recently acquired the 169,000 square foot office building at the front of the West End’s Innovation District. The Luminary was built “by creatives for creatives” in 2019 for Corgan, a leading architecture and design firm. The building’s other tenant includes advertising agency, Lerma. The building is 67% leased. Harwood says it expects to bring the building up to its company standard of at least 90%.

The building stands 7-stories with views of Downtown and Uptown Dallas. Amenities include a rooftop terrace, bike racks, shower facilities, lobby lounge and 14 foot floor-to-ceiling electronically tinted glass. The company has an aggressive growth plan, “This acquisition is the first of several to come. We are targeting two to three acquisitions per year going forward and will continue to grow,” said Harwood International’s David Roehm.

Besides Harwood’s office holdings, the firm is underway on its own hotel concept and several new restaurants.
