Harvest, LaSalle Make Another Bay Area Move
Harvest Properties and partner LaSalle Investment Management acquired a 126,345-square-foot office/R&D/lab asset in Foster City, CA from Woodstock Development. Prior to closing escrow on the property, a long-term lease for a global headquarters facility was executed with reportedly Zoox, a driverless car start-up.
The vacant building was acquired in an off-market transaction for an undisclosed amount. The property, which is located on 5.7 acres at 1149 Chess Dr. in the Vintage Park submarket, is undergoing renovations. The mix of space includes 67,000 square feet of office space, 18,000 square feet of lab space and 41,000 square feet of R&D/warehouse/amenity space.
Cushman and Wakefield’s Mike Moran represented the buyers. Cushman & Wakefield’s Jill Arias advised the tenant.
