Hart Lyman, Conifer Realty to Redevelop Great Northern Mall

The Hart Lyman Companies and Conifer Realty have unveiled plans to revamp the former Great Northern Mall in Clay, NY, submitting a site application to the Town of Clay and releasing renderings publicly. The redevelopment project encompasses housing, medical facilities, professional offices, a community center, hotels, and diverse retail, dining, and entertainment options, aiming to create a town center spanning 215 acres.

With a budget exceeding $1 billion, the project includes over 600,000 square feet of retail and entertainment space, 790,000 square feet of medical and office space, and more than 750 hotel rooms. Notably, it features several mixed-use clusters offering 300-500 housing units each. Construction is slated to commence in Q4 of this year pending final approvals.

“This project is not merely about revitalizing a mall; it’s about providing much needed high-quality, housing supply and choices and laying the foundation for a thriving community that meets the evolving needs of our area and fosters growth and prosperity for years to come.” said Sam Leone, president of Conifer Realty LLC.
