Harris Teeter to Anchor Planned Fort Mill Retail Center

A 61,000-square-foot Harris Teeter supermarket will be the centerpiece of a retail center planned for Fort Mill. Called the Catawba Ridge Market, the center is expected to open in 2027. Aston Properties is developing the site.

The project will also include 20,000 square feet of retail across two buildings and six or seven out-parcels. Plans call for a mix of shopping, dining and other services.

It sits on a 40-acre parcel near the intersection of Fort Mill Parkway and Doby’s Bridge Road, just south of Fort Mill, near Catawba Ridge High School.

Roughly half of that land will be developed for the retail project, and a second, separate project is being mapped out for the remaining land.

Lauren Hansen at Aston is handling leasing for the project.

Aston is working on West Lake Village in Lake Wylie, west of the lake. Harris Teeter also anchors that project.
