The $100 million project is on the Salt River-Maricopa Indian Community, but it’s within a stones throw of Scottsdale, its target audience. Reverb by Hard Rock is a 168-room hotel at The Sydney, a 26-acre site being developed by Palmer Development Group near 90th Street and the Loop 101 freeway on tribal land.

The Phoenix Business Journal reports that the developer says the project is still nearly a year away from starting construction. Other tenants committed to The Sydney, that are in various stages of construction, include Pickle & Social, The Rustic and Goodsurf, each offering a blend of food and beverage and entertainment nightlife.

Hard Rock opened its first Reverb Hotel in late 2020. The Reverb Atlanta has coworking space on-site, a cafe and bar in the lobby and a rooftop bar with live music.
