‘Hard Hats with Heart’ Raises $250K for the American Heart Association
There’s still three weeks left in the first-ever “Hard Hats with Heart” event to benefit the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association (AHA) — and the event has already exceeded expections by raising more than $250,000.
“Our industry has been greatly impacted by heart disease, especially in the various construction practices, so it is not surprising that this event has already brought together so many people,” said event chair James A. Pirot, who is also managing principal at Cresa New York, which has been real estate consultant for AHA for more than a decade.
A cocktail event will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2018, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Ascent Lounge in Time Warner Center, 10 Columbus Circle. The inaugural honoree will be Michael Gerazounis, P.E., president/managing principal, MC Engineering D.P.C.
