Harbor Group International Sells Boston Multifamily Portfolio 

Harbor Group International (HGI) has announced the sale of the Boston Portfolio, a multifamily portfolio consisting of six properties with a total of 1,722 units in suburban submarkets of Boston. The sale price was not disclosed. 

HGI acquired the portfolio in 2019 for $384 million and implemented a $13.6 million capital improvement program to enhance the properties. The properties within the portfolio include Commons at Haynes Farm in Shrewsbury; Middlesex Crossing in Billerica; Meadows at Marlborough and Heights at Marlborough in Marlborough; Stone Ends in Stoughton; Village at Marshfield in Marshfield. 

“The properties are well-positioned in their respective submarkets, as the in-place rents have been significantly below the rents of similar renovated Class A properties,” said Richard Litton, president of HGI.
