Hanley Raises $25,360 for Movember, Brings 10-Year Total to $268K

Corona del Mar-based Hanley Investment Group Real Estate Advisors raised $25,360 during its annual Movember campaign. This marks Hanley’s 10th consecutive year growing a mustache in the month of November to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Hanley Investment Group has raised more than $268,000 for the organization since 2011.

Hanley Investment Group’s Ed Hanley says, “I am truly humbled and grateful for everyone’s generous support of our fundraising efforts, a cause that is very personal to me since I lost my dad to prostate cancer. We know that 2020 has been a particularly challenging year. However, we didn’t want to cancel our annual fundraising efforts.”

This year, Hanley Investment Group had face masks printed with a moustache so the company’s moustache-growing, Movember awareness campaign and fundraiser wouldn’t go unnoticed.

Hanley added, “I didn’t know what to expect in terms of our fundraising success this year, so it has been doubly meaningful to receive the many notes of encouragement and magnanimous contributions from friends, family and business colleagues from around the country.”
